Thank you for visiting the Des Moines Chapter website. This site welcomes members, potential members and visitors interested in learning more about the Des Moines Chapter of Executive Women International (EWI). Chartered in April of 1971, we remain a strong and active chapter in Central Iowa. We meet on the first Monday of the month for programs which support professional women coming together to learn and help their companies, careers and communities thrive.

Participation on committees and/or on the board provides professional development as well as opportunities for business contacts and networking. We are proud of our chapter's volunteer involvement in the community promoting literacy and providing scholarships for non-traditional adult students in Central Iowa.

Founded in 1938, EWI today has active chapters across the United States and in Canada. EWI brings together key individuals from diverse businesses for the purpose of promoting member firms, enhancing personal and professional development, and encouraging community involvement.
